So you have no time whatsoever to take off on a vacation? Help is at hand as you can chill out over a weekend at a Park hotel. The Park has just launched its Urban Retreat packages across six hotels — in Calcutta, Vishakhapatnam, Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai. It takes care of accommodation for two in a double room (over Friday or/and Saturday only), a massage at the hotels’ spas, complimentary buffet breakfasts and a buffet lunch or buffet dinner. At the Park hotels in Calcutta, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai and Chennai, the package is priced at Rs 9,999 per night, while a night at The Park in Delhi will come for Rs 11,599. At The Park Vishakhapatnam, the offer is up for grabs for just Rs 7,777. The prices (includes taxes) may just throw in an upgrade to a higher category luxury room depending on availability. An early check-in at 9am and a late check-out at 6pm come at no extra charge. The offer is valid till August 31 and for more go to www.theparkhotels.com.

My favourite holiday
Nikhil Mehra, fashion designer

I have fallen in love with Goa ever since the time we celebrated the first birthday of our twins there. It is a superb place where one feels really free. Despite a busy schedule, I managed to spend quality time with the kids by swimming with them in the hotel pool. In the evening we would all relax in the hotel with a couple of drinks and then head for dinner on the beach. The trip was made especially memorable by the excellent service provided by the Taj hotel, a kind of hospitality rare in our country. They arranged for the birthday bash on the beach with loads of stuffed toys, balloons and Is. It was very beautiful.
