New Sebi norms
Mumbai, June 19: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has come out with common regulations for market intermediaries, which include stock brokers, merchant bankers and portfolio managers.The regulations prescribe common requirements for all intermediaries for the grant of registration, general obligations, code of conduct and procedure in case of default.

New Delhi, June 19: Indian textiles is facing stiff competition from countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam in the US and the European Union market. A study by Ficci said volatility in rupee value and archaic labour laws were impacting price competitiveness of Indias textile shipments.
