Body found
The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a stream in Basistha on Wednesday. asistha police station has registered an unnatural death case and the body has been sent for an autopsy.
Suicide
A resident of Hengerabari, Binu Pathak, 27, committed suicide in her house on Wednesday. olice have registered a case of unnatural death at Dispur police station. She was the daughter of Bhumidhar Pathak.
Control room
The PWD has set up a control room at the office of the chief engineer of PWD (roads) in Chandmari to receive information about any damage caused to PWD assets because of the floods in the state.
