Tech growth fears
Bangalore, June 9: The growth of the IT and the BPO industry is expected to take a hit by 3-4 per cent in the current fiscal owing to the slowdown in the US economy, weak US dollar and the spurt in crude oil prices, National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) president Som Mittal said. today. “It is hard to make a forecast but the growth is expected to be 3-4 cent less than last year, when it grew by 29 per cent,” Mittal said.
