New Delhi, Jun 4 (PTI): A cow gored a 55-year-old man to death in Delhi this morning.

Gurnam Singh, a driver, was drinking water by the roadside at Rohini in Outer Delhi when the cow charged at him. Gurnam tried but could not save himself, and died on the spot.

Two passersby who tried to rescue him also suffered injuries, police said.

Municipal Corporation of Delhi officials were informed and they caught the animal after some time.

Its owner, Pappi Pehelwan, has been arrested and charged with causing death by negligence (Section 304-A of the Indian Penal Code).
