A dose of indy

He is back! 19 years after The Last Crusade, the unbeatable combination of director Steven Spielberg, producer George Lucas and actor Harrison Ford recreate the Indiana Jones magic with their latest adventure Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in which the inimitable Indy sets out in search of some more rare artefacts. Relive the nostalgia by booking your tickets in advance. If you haven’t watched any of the earlier films, now is the time to up your Indy quotient. Take your parents along — and your kids too. They’ll all enjoy it as much as you do.

Mango masti

Have your fill of the mangoes — the best thing the hot sweaty season has to offer. Pick from Chausa, Himsagar or the golden and succulent Alphonso and eat them peeled, sliced, diced, juiced, frozen, baked, stirred or shaken. Let the mango rule your kitchen with Aam Panna, mango-flavoured dal, mango fish or mango chutney. And a lovely ripe mango topped with ice cream or whipped cream can simply leave you sighing with satisfaction!

Camping off kids

Not only is this a fantastic way to get your young ones to spend their time constructively, it also ensures a hassle-free hot summer afternoon or two for parents. Children can dance, sing, paint, scale the walls and have food fights with newfound friends and companions with as much energy as themselves, without parents tearing their hair out! Just check out the papers and you will find a few such camps in your vicinity. We predict some peace and quiet in your future...
