Mumbai, May 27: Kannada starlet Maria Monica Susairaj, arrested for allegedly murdering Synergy Adlabs creative director Neeraj Grover, today recorded her confession before a magistrate.

Remanded in police custody till Thursday, Susairaj told her interrogators that she wanted to record her confession. She was taken to the chief metropolitan magistrate at the Esplenade court where she partly recorded her statement. She will complete recording it in the next few days.

Susairaj and her Kochi-based boyfriend M.L. Jerome Mathew, 25, were arrested on May 22 on the charge of murdering 25-year-old Grover, whose company Synergy Adlabs produces Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain. The two had allegedly hacked Grover to pieces at Susairaj’s Malad flat on May 7.
