Sebi help for investor

Mumbai, May 23: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has simplified the format of offer documents of mutual funds for the benefit of the investors. According to a Sebi circular, the offer documents would be split into three heads —statement of additional information, scheme information document and key information memorandum.

SBI strike

Mumbai, May 23: The employees of the State Bank of India will hold a one-day nationwide strike on June 6 as a protest against the bank’s management policies on various issues including that of the pension scheme.

BSE warning

Mumbai, May 23: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has warned that it would to take “appropriate action” including the suspension of trading in scrips if companies are found to be involved or acting in collusion with any person to defraud investors.
