Dad’s bomb-making lesson kills boy

Behrampore, May 6: A 15-year-old boy was killed this afternoon, apparently while being taught how to make bombs by his father in a Murshidabad village.

Police said Anisur Rahman, a farm labourer and apparently a CPM supporter, was making bombs in his thatched two-storey house at Rameswarpur. One of them went off by accident. “Villagers told us he was teaching son Emdadul how to make bombs. One exploded and the tiled roof collapsed under its impact,” an officer of the Beldanga police station said.

Anisur is missing. The police said he must have gone into hiding with his injuries.
