Mithun’s girlfriend to Prosenjit’s wife, 19-year-old Punjabi kudi Seemran is bagging all the right roles at the start of her filmi career.

The ramp model featured in Aakaash’s Som Theke Soni series and a couple of commercials before getting the break in Milan Bhowmick’s Satyameva Jayate, which released early this month.

“I met Mithunda for an audition. He chatted with me for a while and said that I would be playing his girlfriend in Satyameva Jayate. Now I am playing Bumbada’s (Prosenjit) wife in Raj Mukherjee’s Mr Funtoosh. Bumbada has a double role in the film; his other heroine is Rachana Banerjee,” says the new Alipore resident, who is now burning the midnight oil to sit for the CAT!
