My favourite holiday

Cory Wallia,
make-up expert

I travel very frequently. Even while I am speaking, I am in Alibaug enjoying a beautiful wedding that has been arranged so that you feel you are in a spa in Bali combined with an interior done up with Ravi Verma paintings. I come from a family that is very widely travelled. So by now I have seen the whole of our country right from the ruins of Konark, Hampi and Belur to the deserts of Rajasthan. But the most awe-inspiring holiday has been my jaunt to Egypt with my father at the age of 15.

By the time we reached, I was well read on the ancient civilization of Egypt. I had gone through encyclopaediae and civilization tomes. I was so fascinated by the history that when I actually got to see it all carved in stone, touch it, feel it and experience it, I was spellbound. Another lovely holiday was to Greece.
