Oil at new high
London, April 21: World oil prices hit a record high of $117.40 as traders seized on unrest in key producer Nigeria, the weak US currency and Opec’s refusal to increase production. New York’s main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in May, stood at $117.10, up 41 cents from Friday’s close.
Dabur Pharma
New Delhi, April 21: European firm Fresenius Kabi will go for a public offer to purchase another 20 per cent stake in Dabur Pharma, while it prepares to invest about $70 million in expanding its activities in India.

New Delhi, April 21: The Nainital bench of Uttarakhand High Court will hear on Thursday ONGC’s appeal challenging the income tax department’s tax penalty of Rs 1,768 crore for claiming benefit to the sum paid by the exploration firm to subsidise oil companies for selling fuel below cost.

Mumbai, April 21: Rail wagon manufacturer Titagarh Wagons made a strong debut on the bourses with the shares surging 28.58 per cent over the issue price. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 734.40 on the bse and Rs 734.70 on the nse.
Trading right
Mumbai, April 21: According to Sebi, brokers and others who have indirect trading rights in stock exchanges — such as sub-brokers and spouses — cannot hold more than 49 per cent of the total stake in the bourses.
