New FM station for music lovers

Jamshedpur, April 14: The war of the radio channels in the steel city is set to get tougher with one more private FM station making a splash in the steel city within six months of the launch of Adlabs Films Big FM.

93.5 Superhit FM or S FM, which began its operation in Jamshedpur from late Sunday evening, is all set to take radio programming to a new height. The services of the radio station would be available in Chaibasa and Behragora also.

“This is our first radio station in Jharkhand,” said Nisha Narayanan, the country head of 93.5 S FM.

A product of Sun TV Network, 93.5 S FM runs under the aegis of South Asia FM Private Limited, which runs Suryan FM down south. In the bigger metropolitans, the company has a stake in Red FM.

The channel would be a complete steel city channel with eight RJs being chosen from the colleges of Jamshedpur itself.
