Durgapur, April 5: A schoolteacher slashed his colleague with a dagger because she wanted to end their relationship, police said.

The 24-year-old woman is in hospital with four deep cuts in her head and right shoulder. Her left index finger has been almost severed. Her 30-year-old assailant was found unconscious from shock in a school toilet.
