Jamshedpur, April 4: Youngsters in the steel city will have a flying start to dream career this summer.
For, the city is all set to witness a spurt in number of institutes to provide air hostess and hospitality training.
While Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training was the first one to set up shop here about two years ago and has so far trained over a 100 boys and girls, the next month would see the entry of two other big names in the league — Flying Cats and Air Hostess Academy.
“There is tremendous potential here. During our pre-launch survey, we found that a large number of students are studying at various such institutes in other parts of the country due to the lack of opportunity here,” said Parvez, the franchise partner for Flying Cats, which would start operations from this month-end.
Considered to be a pioneer in the field of air hostess and hospitality training, unlike similar such courses offered by other institutes, Flying Cats would have two USPs. First, they will provide a university-recognised degree. Moreover, with its opening here, the company would also launch a year-long certificate course for students only with matriculation degree.
“There are numerous students who enter the threshold of colleges, but if trained and groomed properly they too can make a mark in the hospitality sector,” added Parvez.
Another institute, which would soon begin classes, is Air Hostess Academy. Slated to operate from Sakchi, this would be a one-stop course for aviation, hospitality and tourism industries.
“One can directly join the second year of any degree courses on completion of a one-year programme with us thereby saving the problem of losing out on valuable time,” said an official at the academy. The institute would offer one-year diploma course.
