India beat Australia

Calcutta: India won the Indiabulls International Polo championship beating Australia with a score of eight to 4.5 at the Mahalakshmi Race Course in Mumbai on Saturday.

According to information reaching here, skipper Samir Suhag scored three goals as the Indians outsmarted the Aussies.

Australia took early lead. But all the Indian strikers contributed by scoring two a piece with two penalty hits by Suhag.

For the Aussies, Callum Maclachlan scored three goals while one came off the stick of captain Gillon Mclachlan.
