New Delhi: Top two seeds Ashok Kumar and Digvijay Singh registered comfortable wins to move into the pre-quarter final stage of the PGTI SRF All India Professional Golf Matchplay Championship, but third seed Gaganjeet Bhullar was upstaged by Sandeep Syal.

Former Indian Open champion Ali Sher also went through defeating Rahul Ganapathy. Defending champion Ashok Kumar cruised into the last 16 trouncing Vinod Kumar 7 and 6. He will now meet R Srinivas.
