Why are you contesting?
For the last two years, I have been involved in social work for the masses and been thinking of fighting for the post of a ward commissioner. But since my ward number 23 has been reserved for women, I did not want to contest from a ward where I have not worked. So, I planned to aim for the post of vice-chairman of Giridih municipality.
Why should people vote for you?
Only I can represent them best as being one of them I know about all the problems they face in daily life.
Promises are meant to be broken, right?
Yes, but I am not making any false commitment. Coming from a social service background, I know how problems should be solved.
The one thing you would like to do immediately if you win.
I would raise the problems faced by green grocers, vendors and rickshawpullers in the town. These working classes have to face several problems in daily life, but unfortunately, there is no one to voice their grievances.
