Guwahati, Feb. 28: The Assam men’s team today qualified for the 34th National Games to be held in Jharkhand by entering the quarterfinals of the ongoing 27th Senior National Netball Championship held in Delhi since Tuesday.

The Assam men will face their Punjab counterparts in the quarterfinals tomorrow.

En route to the quarterfinals, the Assam team put up a good show to beat Goa (28-4), Gujarat (21-20), Tamil Nadu (13-6), West Bengal (15-10) and Maharashtra (14-4). However, they lost to Haryana 10-20 in the league matches.
