New Delhi: Indias coach-designate Gary Kirsten feels the huge sums offered by the Indian Premier League (IPL) could pose a challenge for him in terms of management of the players with heavy pockets.
The IPL is new territory. So maybe, the kind of money thats come in, presents a new sort of challenge for me, said Kirsten, adding: We will focus on that if the need comes.
Kirsten said the IPL was a great opportunity and he saw no reason why it shouldnt succeed. The IPL is unique because it brings in a new kind of supporter to cricket. It also adds a new dimension to the game. I think its great, Kirsten told a website (PTI)
