SA have it easy vs Bangla

Kuala Lumpur: South Africa routed Bangladesh by 201 runs in the second quarter-finals of the ICC Under-19 World Cup at the Bayuemas Oval on Sunday.

Put in to bat, South Africa skittled Bangladesh for 41 runs in 11.5 overs after setting them 243, for loss of eight wickets, to win in 50 overs.

Eighteen-year-old captain Wayne Parnell was instrumental in the South African win as he put up an allround show hitting 57 off 60 balls and then grabbing six wickets for eight runs.

South Africa were reduced to 69 for four at one stage but Jonathan Vandiar (45) and Yaseen Vallie scored 66 runs in partnership for the fifth wicket.
