Bangalore: Ace shuttler Anand Pawar has become only the second Indian to win Austrian Open men’s singles crown.

Pawar, 21, defeated world No. 60 Vladislav Druzchenko of Ukraine in straight sets in Vienna on Saturday, a Tata Padukone Badminton Academy press release said.

Late Syed Modi was the first Indian to achieve the feat.
