SUBJECT: The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) invites applications for admission to their summer courses. The courses cost Rs 5,000 per month each and will span over six to eight weeks. There are two courses on offer — project-oriented chemical education (POCE) and project-oriented biological education (POBE).

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates applying for project-oriented chemical education (POCE) must be first year bachelor of science (BSc) students (a subject combination of physics, chemistry and mathematics is preferred). For project-oriented biological education (POBE) too, candidates must be in BSc first year (any science discipline).

SUBJECT: Maharshi Dayanand University invites applications for its distance learning courses in the following disciplines: (i) MCA (three years, lateral entry in the second and third year); (ii) MBA (two years, lateral entry in the second year); (iii) MSc in computer science (two years, lateral entry in the second year); (iv) APGDCA (one year) (v) BCA (three years) and (vi) BBA (three years).

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates applying for MCA, MBA, MSc and APGDCA must be graduates from a recognised university in the country. And candidates applying for BCA or BBA must have completed their Plus Two.

SUBJECT: Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research announces admission to the following programmes at its Mumbai and Bangalore campus. The two-year, full-time postgraduate diploma in management programme (PGDM) is recognised by the AICTE. The PGDM e-business programme is also a two-year full-time one while the PGDM retail management programme is an executive programme that has a tie-up with Pantaloons.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants need a minimum of 50 per cent in their degree exam and a consistently good academic record. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.
