Chronicler of simplicity
He is a contemporary Everyman who chronicles his surroundings with a dexterity that defies the limitations of time and space and makes his works universal. He is Kochi-based renowned artist Mohandas N.N. He attempts to explore the vast potential of the classical style of painting. Influenced by both the modern and the ancient, Mohandas believes strongly in the tremendous power of the traditional indigenous style. This is reflected in his works. He prefers the detailed representation of objects, typical of traditional Indian art. In fact, Mohandas’ workmanship is quite synonymous with the eastern classical style.
