Photography, as a form of art, enables the artist to share his inner vision through a single moment of cognizance that he has captured through his lens. To encourage photography as an art form and to provide a unique platform of learning to those interested in pursuing it as a profession, the National Academy of Photography is setting up Persona - the Home of Image Makers, the first institute of its kind in eastern India. The ongoing exhibition, being held to mark its inauguration, features a world-acclaimed collection of photographic art by master photographer Madhu Sarkar and by distinguished photo-artists of Persona.
