It was a full house at the Bharatiyam Cultural Complex on Tuesday evening as students and teachers of the Indian Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) came together to let their hair down at the annual extravaganza Carnival ’08, hosted in association with The Telegraph.

It was Bollywood all the way, with foot-thumping numbers belted out by Kajra re singer Javed Ali, along with performances by Indian Idol 2 contestants Rahul Saxena and Antara Mitra.

Ali, the star attraction, took the stage while being wildly cheered on by the crowd. Ali’s medley for the evening included tracks like Yeh dil toh na, Bin tere sanam, Fanaa, Ya ali and Raheja raheja. For the lovestruck, there was Jashna bahaara from Jodhaa Akbar.
