Calcutta, Feb. 8: Forensic experts probing the gas-and-grab tragedy at 276 GT Road in Howrah confirmed today that cooking gas was pumped in before the 8-foot-by-6-foot room was set ablaze.

The fire today claimed its second victim — Deepali Shaw (in picture), 13.

The accused, landlord-turned-promoter Kashinath Jaiswal and his associate Amarnath Prasad, have been sent to police custody till February 17.
