UTI Index Select Fund has declared a tax-free dividend of 120 per cent, or Rs 12.00 per unit, having face value of Rs 10 each. After the payment of the dividend, the net asset value of the dividend option of the scheme will fall to the extent of the payout and statutory levy. Investors who have bought the units under the scheme on or before January 14 will get the dividend. The scheme had declared a dividend of 100 per cent, or Rs 10.00 per unit, in 2006-07.

Almondz Global Securities has launched a discretionary portfolio management service — compounding growth portfolio (CGP) — in association with the UK-based Commander Asset Management. Almondz Global has recently signed an advisory agreement with Commander Asset Management. The open-ended CGP will invest in equities according to a computerised algorithm to provide enhanced returns with a reduced risk profile compared with the market.
ICICI offer
ICICI Bank has launched a mobile banking platform called I-Mobile. All Internet banking transactions can now be done through mobile phones. The application covers savings bank, demat, credit card and loan accounts and the facility comes without any additional charge.
