Nikita plays Saif
Nikita Anand

Ex-Miss India Nikita Anand, who debuted in Dil Dosti Etc and claims to be single in real life, is totally bowled over by the charming ways of our Chhote Nawab.

Ask the dimpled sparkler who would be the perfect hero for her, and she flashes that smile: “Saif Ali Khan would be a perfect hero for me. He is such a charmer. When he plays a prince, he looks every inch a prince. And when he plays a negative character like Langda Tyagi, he plays it perfectly. I would love to be his heroine.”

Casting golmaal

Shreyas Talpade is awkward about replacing Sharman Joshi in Golmaal Returns. Says Iqbal: “Yes it is (awkward), especially when you have seen the first part and liked all four of the main characters.... When I heard that a sequel to Golmaal was being made, I was very happy ki yeh chaaron vapas koi masti karenge. I had no idea that I was going to be cast in it. Even when I got a call from the production house, I didn’t know I was going to be replacing someone.”

Shreyas goes on: “I asked them what happened with Sharman and they said they were having some date problems. I said I would do the film but I also told Ajay and Tusshar that, ‘You guys made a great team, yaar, in the original’.”

Mr Nice Guy played it straight: “I am happy to be part of a wonderful team but I really wish Sharman was doing the film.... As they say, the show must go on.”
