No showdown with Lee, says Sourav

Melbourne: Sourav Ganguly, Team India’s highest scorer (43, 40) in the first Test, has clarified that there was no showdown between him and Brett Lee on Saturday afternoon.

“It appeared Brett said something jokingly… I didn’t even hear, for I found him smiling… I smiled too,” Sourav, for whom the MCG Test was his 100th, told The Telegraph.

Sourav, by the way, required medication as the heat made him feel “giddy.”
