CAB officials booed

Calcutta: The 100-odd crowd which was witness to Bengal’s abject surrender at the Eden on Thursday, came down heavily on the CAB officials, showering catcalls and jeers on them.

The two joint-secretaries and other officials avoided any communication with the angry fans, but shouts like “hai hai CAB” or “what is CAB president (Prasun Mukherjee) doing in Melbourne while Bengal are languishing here?” didn’t escape their ears.
