Calcutta, Dec. 26: Webel and the Bengal IT department will host an interactive breakfast session with representatives of global semiconductor firms at a summit in Bangalore in February.
Vision Summit 2008, a flagship event of the Indian Semiconductor Association (ISA), will be held on February 18 and 19.
The power breakfast session will be attended by national and international semiconductor majors. This will be followed by a keynote address by Bengal IT minister Debesh Das. Bengal can take this opportunity to network as it has tremendous potential to take forward the semiconductor growth in India, said P.K. Dutta, executive council member of the Indian Semiconductor Association.
The foundation for the Rs 400-crore India Design Centre should be complete before the start of the Vision Summit.
