Calcutta, Dec. 26: Subhas Chakraborty today said Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and CPM state secretary Biman Bose were yet to “find acceptance as mass leaders”.

Asked if there was a leadership problem in the party, the transport minister said: “No. Both leaders you talked about have gained acceptabi- lity in the party. They are yet to be accepted as leaders by the people.”

Picnic deaths

Midnapore: Four youths who went to Haldia from here for a Christmas picnic were killed early on Wednesday. Their car skidded off the road near Tamluk.
