King Cole, Entrepreneur shine

Calcutta: King Cole and Entrepreneur were impressive from among the following horses seen exercising on Thursday.

Outer sand track

1,400m: King Cole (Israil) and Entrepreneur (Rabbani) in 1-54s; (800m) 59s; (400m) 29s. Former was a length better. Both were handy and they moved attractively. Country Girl (Aman) in 1-58s (first 600m) 49s. Easy. She is coming on well. Rosenkavalier (Domingo) and Priceless Hero (Islam) in 1-55s; (400m) 32s. Former was a length. Both were handy and went well. Storm Jewel (Aman) in 1-55s; (first 600m) 47s. Was unextended. Cosmos (Surjeet) and Thunderello (Rb) in 1-55s; (400m) 31s. Former was easily 6 ls better.

1,200m: Andralyn (C.Alford) and Exclusivity (Surender) in 1-29s; (400m) 30s. Former was easily 6 ls better. Appasionata (Rb) in 1-39s; (400m) 30s. Was handy. Our Dragon (Manasseh) in 1-39s; (400m) 29s. Moved well.

800m: Noble Desire (Rb) in 1-2s; (400m) 31s. Easy. Elusive Trust (Rb) in 1-2s; (400m) 31s. Unextended. Looking further improved. Royal Navy (C.Alford) and Gilded Romance (Surender) in 1-0s; (400m) 29s. They were level but the former impressed.

600m: Diamedes (Islam) in 44s; (400m) 29s. Moved well. Supreme Attraction (C. Jodha) from 1,400m to 800m in 49s. Was unextended.

Bangalore races

Calcutta: In view of heavy rain in the Garden City, the Bangalore Turf Club stewards have decided to postpone the races, scheduled for Friday, to Monday. The same card will hold good and the inter-venue betting will be conducted at the city racecourse, according to an RCTC notification.
