What to do this weekend

For a wholesome treat combining Naga food, fun and music, join the Hornbill Festival that begins at the Naga Heritage Complex, Kisama.

Walk

Don those sport shoes and join the Dimapur District AIDS Control Committee volunteers who will walk around the town trying to raise awareness about the disease. The walk will begin at 8am from four points — Nagarjan police point, DC Court junction, Dhobinala junction and Purana Bazar police point.

Programme

Join the culmination programme of the year-long golden jubilee celebration of Mokokchung district at Imkongmeren Sports Complex on Saturday.

Tennis

Pick up your sunglasses and head for the ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis Championship 2007 at Chachal Tennis Complex.

Silk fest

Pick up some exotic silk from Sualkuchi Vastra Utsav, which is under way at Sankarkshetra in Sualkuchi. It is on till December 7.

Workshop

Enrol for a monthlong workshop on Rukmini Haran Bhaona, organised by the Northeast Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur, at Shilpagram in Guwahati. The workshop concludes on December 24.
