Pension fund

LIC Pension Fund Limited, sponsored by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, has become the first company in India to manage pension funds under the new system. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has selected it on conditions that it will form a separate company to manage pension funds of central government employees who joined services on or after January 1, 2004.

Tata Steel has opened the third express outlet of steeljunction at Barasat. This is a smaller format of the steeljunction store. The store will be run on a franchisee model and is spread over an area of around 1300sq ft.
