Groban at the Greek
The Calcutta School of Music brings to the city’s music lovers a screening of the brilliant performance of Josh Groban at the Greek. Groban’s debut album Josh Groban (2001) fetched enormous sales figures, proving his popularity and testifying to his talent. The Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter returned to the charts in 2004 with a performance, Live at the Greek. He works within the musical genres of Classical, Easy Listening, Pop, Gospel, Operatic Pop and Vocal. He has performed with Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman and Charlotte Church, besides appearing in numerous charity functions organised by celebrities Andre Agassi, Muhammad Ali, Hillary Clinton and Michelle Pfeiffer. Groban has also acted in a season of Ally McBeal, playing the role of Malcolm Watt and returning again and again on public demand. His hit single, You are loved, from his third album, Awake (2006), is his latest offering to his fans worldwide.
