SUBJECT: The department of commerce invites applications for admission to the full-time two-year masters programmes in international business (MIB) and in human resources and organisational development (MHROD).

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants should have a bachelors degree in any discipline from the University of Delhi or any other recognised university, with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate.

PARTICULARS: The Common Entrance Test will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Guwahati.

The prospectus and application form can be obtained in person or by post from the section officer, department of commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, New Delhi-110007, against a bank draft from a nationalised bank of Rs 500 for one course and Rs 800 for both courses drawn in favour of The Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at New Delhi. If you want the application material sent by post, include a self-addressed envelope (28 cms x 22 cms) with a demand draft of Rs 600 for one course and Rs 900 for both courses. Write your name, address, telephone, centre and course(s) applied for at the back of the bank draft.

SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for admission to its postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) programme.

ELIGIBILITY: Those who have a bachelors degree in any discipline with 50 per cent marks may apply for admission.

PARTICULARS: Those seeking admission to the PGDM have to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by the IIMs or the MAT conducted by All India Management Association. The prospectus and application form can be obtained on all working days from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on payment of Rs 700 in cash or by sending a demand draft of Rs 750 in favour of New Delhi Institute of Management, Delhi, to the institute.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU CENTRE FOR ADVANCED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH (JNCASR), BANGALORE

SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for the summer research fellowships-2008, offered in association with the department of science and technology and the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi.

ELIGIBILITY: Students who are in the first, second or third year of their BSc, BVSc, MBBS or BPharm programmes, or in an MSc / integrated MSc programme, can apply for admission. Second and third year BE and BTech students can also apply for admission. Students selected under the programme are placed with scientists at JNCASR or elsewhere in India, for two months with a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month and travel support as per Government of India norms.
