Ajmer arrest in Jharkhand

Dumka, Oct. 25: A suspect in the Ajmer Sharif blast, Kushbur Rahman, was today arrested from a village in Jharkhand’s Godda district.

A CID team from Rajasthan reached Chanda village this morning to arrest the 37-year-old science graduate who teaches Hindi in a madarsa in the northern state.

“I am a simple teacher and have been working in Rajasthan for the past six years. Unemployment had driven me to Rajasthan,” Rahman said, adding he had returned home for Id. He belongs to a family of farmers.

The superintendent of police, Godda, Biglal Oraon, said over the phone that CID team was led by sub-inspector Ashok Kumar Sani from Jaipur.
