SAIL orders for BOC

BOC India’s project engineering division has won two contracts worth Rs 318 crore from Steel Authority of India Ltd. The contracts are for setting up two air separation units at SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant and IISCO Steel Plant. These contracts will be executed over a period of 2-3 years.

Reliance coins

Reliance Money has launched low-end variants of gold coins weighing 0.5 gm, 1 gm and 2 gm. “Gold today is a costly metal with limited usage. We plan to change this by making pure gold available to consumers at a convenient price point,” Reliance Money ceo Sudip Bandyopadhyay said.

IFBI course

The Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (IFBI) and HDFC Bank have entered into a partnership to train students in banking. IFBI students will join HDFC Bank as trainees once they complete the six-month diploma course.

SBI scheme

The State Bank of India has launched two loan utsavs in Hooghly. Companies such as Tata Motors, Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra, Xenitis and Hero Honda have partnered the bank in the initiative.
