Mayukh, Ranjit through

Mayukh Ray and Ranjit Chaudhuri registered their place in the Tollygunge Club team for the East Zone regional final of the McDowell’s Signature Club Golf Championship. On Sunday, Mayukh emerged winner of the 0-8 category, while Ranjit was the runners up with stableford points in the intra-club tournament. They were joined by Vivek Varma and Deb Mukherji, winner and runners-up of the 9-16 handicap category, respectively.

Kabaddi meet

Agarpara MS and Calcutta MS emerged respective champions in the boys and girls sections, respectively, in the State Junior Kabaddi tournament on Sunday. In the final, at the Vidyasagar Foundation Ground, Agarpara MS beat Calcutta Saraswati 33-16, while Calcutta MS defeated Chandannagar 26-20. The two-day meet witnessed participation of 30 clubs.
