Kidnapped from IT hub

Hyderabad, Sept. 4: The son of a software engineer was kidnapped in front of his home in Hyderabad’s IT hub.

Rohit, 11, son of Cognizant executive Ravinder Reddy, was spirited away from Kondapur this evening.

Rohit’s mother, also a software engineer, works in Satyam.

“They drove away in a Qualis in the rush-hour traffic,” a police officer in Cyberabad, the city’s infotech hub, said.

On July 24, Satyam group executive V. Satyanarayana was abducted but the 40-year-old returned home in a day.
