Calcutta: Deep Dasgupta & Co. may go to either Sri Lanka or Bangladesh as part of their pre-season preparations.

The suggestion of having a few practice matches abroad before the beginning of the Ranji Trophy came from coach Bharat Arun during his interaction with the players on Wednesday.

It has been learnt that the players prefer Sri Lanka to Bangladesh and are keen to play at least three matches there.
