Imphal, July 22: The Churachandpur District Students Union suspended its indefinite district bandh for two days from today, after the Manipur government promised to release the rice quota for the district by tomorrow.

The union had imposed the indefinite bandh on July 19 after the food and civil supplies department failed to release 10,000 quintals of rice even though the amount had been deposited by the district administration.
