Kohima, July 6: The Nagaland Information Commission has directed the public information officer (PIO) of the office of chief engineer, PWD (roads and bridges), to furnish information sought by appellant K.C. Angami.

He submitted an application under the Right To Information (RTI) Act on information related to supply and construction works allotted under the department with effect from January 2006.

The commission directed the PIO to furnish all necessary information free of cost within 10 working days from July 5, 2007 — the date of pronouncement of the decision.
