UNITED STATES EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION IN INDIA (USEFI), CALCUTTA

SUBJECT: USEFI invites applications for the 2008-09 Fulbright fellowships for those who wish to do doctoral and professional research in the US.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants should be 45 years old or under. They should be enrolled in a PhD programme at an Indian university in the area(s) of the US, special education, strategic studies, and new India fields such as agriculture, civic engagement, environment, global business studies, media technology, public health, science and technology policy and management, and urban studies, or professionals with postgraduate degrees, working in organisations where the study of special education, strategic studies, and new India fields would be useful.

PARTICULARS: Application materials are available on USEFI’s website. Requests for hard copies of application materials may be sent to the USEFI office in Calcutta with a self-addressed stamped (Rs 25) 10” x 7” envelope.

SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for admission to its courses in (1) acting and modelling (2) news anchoring and radio jockeying (3) non-linear editing (4) still photography and videography (5) sound recording and engineering (6) cinematography (camera and lighting) (7) direction (film and TV) (8) electronic journalism (radio, television) and (9) creative writing (screenplay and dialogue).
