Mumbai, June 21 (PTI): Over 200 people were caught on the charge of drunken driving in a special operation early today, police said.

The operation, between 11 last night and 3 this morning, resulted in action against over 300 people for drunken and rash driving.

“We book around 1,000 people for drunken driving annually. We have caught 214 people on the charge in a span of four hours itself,” deputy commissioner of police (traffic) Harish Baijal said.
