Tata Tele radio service

Tata Teleservices has launched Internet radio in its mobile handsets. There will be 41 radio channels, including bbc, Bloomberg, cnn and different genres of music in the handsets. Subscribers will be charged Rs 50 for a month. Initially, the service will be available in handsets of Rs 8,000.

Graphite India

Graphite India has posted a net profit of Rs 193.87 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 compared with Rs 62.95 crore in the previous year. Income from operations rose 38 per cent to Rs 900.01 crore from Rs 649.40 crore a year ago. The company’s board of directors has recommended a special dividend of Re 1 per share.

Panacea profit

Panacea Biotec has reported a 140.9 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 146.81 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. The EBIDTA grew 86.3 per cent at Rs 229.88 crore. Net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31 rose 104 per cent at Rs 23.4 crore. The EBIDTA for the quarter rose by 58.8 per cent at Rs 42.44 crore.

Ramsarup net

Ramsarup Industries Ltd has reported a 28.3 per cent jump in its total income at Rs 1,306.06 crore during 2006-07 against Rs 1,018.02 crore in the previous fiscal. The profit after tax increased 56.7 per cent to Rs 43.56 crore from Rs 27.8 crore a year ago. The company has declared an interim dividend of 15 per cent per share of Rs 10 each.

Wipro tieup

Wipro Infotech has tied up with Apple Computer International to sell the entire range of Apple products in India. The company operates in India, West Asia and Asia Pacific.

Rediff search

Rediff.com has launched a caller ringback tune search service. This will allow mobile subscribers of Airtel, BPL Mobile, Hutch, Idea and Reliance Communications to search for their favourite ringback tunes on the portal.
