Sonia jab at Modi

Mehsana, May 31: Sonia Gandhi today urged the people of Gujarat to vote out the “dictatorial” Narendra Modi government. Elections in the state are due in a few months.

The Congress chief was addressing her third rally in the state since January.

“Farmers have been committing suicide, but the chief minister is talking about their prosperity,” she said. There was no word about Maharashtra, where the Congress-NCP government has failed to halt such deaths.

“If you get rid of this government, I promise to help restore the pride and glory of this state, which has been ruined by the Modi government,” she said. “Unke nazar mein sirf kursi hai aur unke dilon mein sirf nafrat (Their sights are set on power. Their hearts are filled with hatred).”
