Dividend option
UTI Mutual Fund has declared a dividend of 4.9 per cent under the dividend option of its CRTS 81 Fund. The record date for the payout has been fixed as May 29. This dividend is being announced after a gap of six months. In October 2006, the fund paid a dividend of 5 per cent. UTI-MNC Fund, formerly known as UGS 2000, has also declared a tax-free dividend of 30 per cent, or Rs 3.00 per unit having a face value of Rs 10. After the dividend is paid, the net asset value of the scheme would fall to the extent of the payout. The UTI-MNC Fund was launched in April 1998 as an open-ended scheme and in April 13 this year UTI GSF-Brand Value Fund was merged with it.
DBS payout
DBS Chola Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 5 per cent, or Rs 5.00 per unit, under the dividend plan of DBS Chola Hedged Equity Fund. The record date for the same has been fixed as May 31. The net asset value of the scheme is Rs 10.71 as on May 24.
Tata Mutual
Tata Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 40 per cent under the dividend option of the Tata Life Sciences and Technology Fund. The record date for the same has been fixed as May 25. This is the second dividend by the fund this year. It has already declared a 25 per cent dividend in April.
